Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession, which adopts scientific-based approach to assess, diagnose and treat physical disease and disability. Physiotherapists are experts in movement and function who work with their patients to promote health and well-being. Physiotherapists use their knowledge and skills to improve a range of movement disorders affecting quality of life, which may have been presented at birth, acquired through injuries, ageing process or resulted from life-changing event. They help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.

Physiotherapy also helps to facilitate recovery, enabling people to stay in work while helping them to remain independent for as long as possible. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease.
