About Us
About Us
Rehab Concept started with a lean team of four in 2015. Our first centre occupied a space of 3000 square feet in Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho, Kuching, Sarawak, where we were proud to be the first in the State to offer a place where you could meet all your different rehabilitative needs under one roof – physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and Pilates. Housing the first Pilates studio in Kuching offering both clinical and studio Pilates, Rehab Concept was one of the pioneers in changing the rehab and fitness industry scene then.
Other than rehabilitative services and Pilates, our team has also been supporting major sporting events throughout the years. Events such as Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA), Kuching Marathon, Cat City Run, and Spartan races gave us a chance to contribute back to the community, alongside establishing strategic collaborations with various corporations, professional bodies, and non-government organisations (NGOs).
In February 2023 – after 8 years and the expansion of our services with a growing team of eighteen – we relocated to a bigger venue of 6000 square feet in Jalan Wan Alwi, Kuching, along with a new Pilates Reformer studio.
In November 2023, we opened the doors to our new centre in Petaling Jaya catered towards specific musculoskeletal and oncology rehabilitation, along with a Pilates Reformer studio! With the launching of our new branch across the sea in PJ, Rehab Concept will continue to provide quality rehabilitative services and post-operative care to the community as we collaborate with an oncology & advanced surgery specialist hospital, PICASO Hospital.
We look forward to serving the community in both locations and bringing you the best care and wellness experience as we grow together!

He has spent the past 5 years serving in private hospitals across Penang and the Klang Valley honing his skillset in both the Musculoskeletal and Neurology setting.
He strongly believes that we only get better by deliberate practice, be it by challenging himself as a practitioner to do & be better; but also challenging his clients to enhance their own recovery by embracing feedback & understanding themselves and their conditions better. In his efforts to walk the talk, he has just completed his Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) Course C to better equip himself to help any clients who walks through his doors. One day, he aims to complete his DNS Course D in Czech Republic and rub shoulders with the greats who championed this concept.
He continues to challenge his growth in not one but two specialties namely in the Musculoskeletal and Neurological Rehabilitation, especially after attaching with a clinic specialising in the Bobath Concept and Technique for 6 weeks in the Philippines. Since that exposure, he’s been implementing those techniques in his practice and he believes that the human mind and body are more resilient than we think it is and that’s how he continues to push his clients towards recovery.
When he’s not in the clinic, he has recently started making his own sambal, experimenting with different chillis and he may just one day be the next Khairul Aming! If you ask nicely, he may even offer you a small taster!
